Pupil ERP is school management software built in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir by TechKnow. It gives private schools one system for student records, fees, attendance, exams, payroll and parent communication. The team that builds it also sells and supports it, so schools deal directly with the people who maintain the software.
Why we built it
Most school software sold in India is written for a school that does not look much like the ones around us. It assumes fees arrive online, that every parent has a smartphone and the patience to install an app, and that a school has an IT department to call when something breaks.
The schools we know run differently. Fees come in cash at a counter as often as online. Parents are far more likely to send a WhatsApp message than open an app. And when something breaks at 9am on a results day, there is no IT department — there is a school owner and an office clerk who need it working now.
Pupil ERP is shaped around that. The WhatsApp bot exists because it is what parents actually use. The counter fee flow exists because that is how money actually moves. The bulk CSV import exists because every school already has its records in a spreadsheet and nobody is going to re-type them.
How we work with schools
We do not run a self-serve signup. Before a school buys anything, we set up a real workspace with its own classes, fee structure and student list, and walk the office team through the tasks they will do every day. If it is not a fit, we would rather find that out in a 40-minute demo than after an invoice.
Onboarding, importing your existing records and training your staff are included in the price. So is every update we ship. We publish ourpricing in full rather than making you ask, because a school owner comparing options deserves to compare real numbers.
Where we are
We are in Srinagar. For schools in the Kashmir valley and Jammu that means we can come to you, sit in your office, and get the system running with your team in the room. For schools elsewhere in India it means support in your own timezone from people who understand how a school year here actually runs — admissions, term fees, board exams, results.
A note on the name

No. Pupil ERP at pupilerp.com is an Indian school management system built in Srinagar by TechKnow. It is unrelated to Pupil AG, the Swiss school software company, and unrelated to PupilAdmin, Pupilpod or Smart Pupils, which are separate products from other companies.
Which schools is Pupil ERP for?
Private schools, from small schools moving off paper registers to larger multi-section institutions. It is used by schools across India, with a concentration in Jammu & Kashmir where the team is based and can support schools in person.
Is our data safe with a smaller company?
Each school runs in an isolated workspace with role-based access, audit logging on record changes, and two-factor verification on login. Being smaller is why support is direct: there is no ticket queue between you and the people who maintain the system.
