Last updated: 11 June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Pupil school management platform, including the website at pupilerp.com and the Pupil Parent and Pupil Teacher mobile applications (the “Services”), operated by TechKnow (“Pupil”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Services you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility & accounts
- Accounts are issued by a school to its administrators, teachers, and parents. You must use the credentials provided to you and keep them confidential.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
- You must provide accurate information and use the Services only for legitimate school-management purposes.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Access data you are not authorised to view, or attempt to bypass access controls.
- Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content, or misuse another person’s data.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Services, or use them to build a competing product.
- Use the Services to send spam or violate any applicable law.
Schools and content
Each school controls the records in its workspace and is responsible for the accuracy of the data it enters and for obtaining any consents required to process student and parent information. You retain ownership of the content you submit; you grant us the limited right to host and process it solely to provide the Services. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
AI features
Certain features, such as AI-assisted homework help, generate automated responses that may not always be accurate or complete. They are provided for assistance only and should not replace professional or academic judgement.
Fees
Use of Pupil by a school may be subject to a separate subscription agreement between the school and Pupil. Any payment-related records shown in the Services reflect transactions managed by the school.
Availability
We work to keep the Services available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pupil and TechKnow will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Services.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or if required to protect the Services or other users. Schools may end their use in accordance with their agreement with us.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
