Announcements
One notice, sent once, that actually reaches people
A school announcement system sends notices to a chosen audience and records what was sent. Pupil ERP delivers announcements to one class, one section, all parents or all staff simultaneously as a push notification, a WhatsApp message and an in-app announcement — replacing the parent WhatsApp group and the photographed notice board.
Choose who actually needs to know
A notice about a Class 6 field trip should go to Class 6 parents, not to all 1,200 families. Announcements are targeted at a class, a section, the whole parent body or staff, so parents stop filtering out school messages that never concern them.
Delivered three ways at once
Every announcement goes out as a push notification to the app, a WhatsApp message, and an in-app announcement that stays available to read later. Parents who never installed the app still get it; parents who did get it immediately.
Better than a parent WhatsApp group
A WhatsApp group of forty parents becomes unusable within a month, and important notices get buried under replies. Announcements are one-directional and come from the school, so the message stays the message. And because it is recorded, "we were never told" has an answer.
- Target a class, a section, all parents or all staff
- Push notification, WhatsApp and in-app delivery
- Announcements stay readable in the app afterwards
- A record of what was sent and to whom

The rest of the system
These modules share the same records, so nothing is entered twice.
WhatsApp for Schools

FAQ
Announcements & Notices — questions schools ask
How does the Pupil ERP announcement system work?
You write a notice, choose who should receive it — one class, one section, all parents, or staff — and send. It goes out simultaneously as a push notification to the app, a WhatsApp message, and an in-app announcement that stays available to read afterwards.
Can we send a notice to just one class?
Yes. Announcements are targeted, so a notice that only concerns Class 6 goes only to Class 6 parents. That keeps school messages relevant, which is what stops parents from tuning them out.
Is this better than a parent WhatsApp group?
For school-to-parent notices, yes. Groups fill with replies and important messages get buried, whereas announcements are one-directional, come from the school officially, stay readable in the app, and leave a record of what was sent and to whom.
