From datesheet to report card without typing the marks twice

Exam and result management software handles the full exam cycle: scheduling, marks entry, grading and report cards. Pupil ERP publishes datesheets to parents, takes marks subject by subject, applies your grading scheme, generates report cards, and releases results to the parent app when you choose — marks are entered once and flow through.

Publish the datesheet once and everyone has it

Build the exam schedule subject by subject with dates and timings, and publish it. Parents and students get it in the app and as a downloadable PDF, and exam-day reminders go out automatically before each paper.

That replaces the notice board photograph circulating in six WhatsApp groups with three different versions of the timetable on it.

Marks entered once

Teachers enter marks per subject against the class list. Grading is applied by the system according to the scheme you configure, so grades and totals are calculated rather than worked out by hand on a sheet and then copied into a report card.

This is where most of the manual effort in a results cycle actually goes — not the marking, but the transcription. Entering once and generating from that removes both the labour and the copying errors.

Report cards you release when you are ready

Report cards are generated from the entered marks with grades, totals and subject-wise breakdown. Nothing reaches parents until you publish results — you keep the control you have now, without the printing cycle.

Once released, parents open the result in the app. Schools that want printed cards can still print them; the difference is that the printing is the last step rather than the whole process.

  • Subject-wise marks and grade calculation
  • Report card generation from entered marks
  • Results held until you explicitly publish them
  • Parents view results in the app once released

Performance feedback between exam cycles

Teachers can record performance feedback for a student outside the formal exam cycle, and parents see it in the app. A parent finds out their child is struggling in November rather than at the end of the year, which is when something can still be done about it.

FAQ

Exams & Results — questions schools ask

What is exam and result management software?

Exam and result management software covers scheduling exams, publishing datesheets, entering marks, applying a grading scheme, generating report cards and releasing results to parents. Pupil ERP handles the full cycle so marks are entered once and flow through to grades, totals and report cards automatically.

Can Pupil ERP generate report cards?

Yes. Report cards are generated from the marks teachers enter, with grades, totals and a subject-wise breakdown applied according to your school’s grading scheme. You can print them and parents can also view results in the parent app once you publish them.

Do parents see results before we are ready?

No. Results stay unpublished until you explicitly release them. Marks entry, grading and report card generation all happen without anything reaching parents, so you keep exactly the control over results day that you have today.

How do parents get the exam datesheet?

The datesheet is published to the parent and student apps and available as a downloadable PDF, and exam-day reminders are sent automatically before each paper. This replaces circulating a photograph of the notice board through WhatsApp groups.

Can teachers give feedback outside exam time?

Yes. Teachers can record performance feedback for a student at any point in the term, and parents see it in the app. That means a parent learns their child is falling behind while there is still time in the year to act on it.
